About this Upgrade software

This Upgrade software requests older version of Mimaki FineCut CD-ROM while installation.

The following functions have been change

[Ver8.7.5 -> Ver8.7.6]
- Newly supported application -

1. CorelDRAW GraphicsSuite 2018 is supported.
2. CorelDRAW TechinicalSuite 2018 is supported.

- Improved function -

1. In CFL-605 RT, square register marks can be created and confirmed.
   You can use it by applying CFL-605 RT FW Ver 1.70.

1. ID cut has bee supported in CFL-605 RT.
2. Mark separation function has been supported in CF22-1225.

- Fixed bugs -

1. When trying to detect a register mark in the direction that is not a separation direction at using intermediate register mark, it did not work properly. (Corel only)

1. In CF22-1225, RasterLink output can be now used.

2. ID cut function is installed. (CF22-1225)
   When a printer prints data with ID and a cutting plotter detects the ID, it can cut automatically by the function.
   To do the ID cut, set the cutting condition with FineCut first and output the ID cut data.
   And print register marks with the given ID with RasterLinkPlus.
   Then, detect the register marks with the cutting plotter.
   
   Conditions for using ID cut:
   • RasterLink 6 Plus ver1.2 or higher, and CuttingLink ver 1.0 or higher are required.

1. Specify Cutting Direction Function
   Cutting direction can be changed after checking cutting direction at CorelDRAW and click pass.
2. Register color/layer of cutting condition as a favorite each
   After registering cutting condition and cutting order which is setting each color and layer as a favorite, apply the favorite, cutting condition and cutting order can be operated simply even though data is changed.
3. Improved the operability of Reverse Cut (Only for CFL-605RT FWVer.1.40 and later）
   First, perform all frame cut at obverse, and continuously perform data cut at reverse.
   To perform separately frame cut and reverse cut in two processes, separated operation of frame and data cutting can be performed at separate timing.

1. When using a data which the length is more than 15,400mm, CorelDRAW freezes when displaying plot dialog.

1. In CFL-605RT, the reverse cut function is improved. (Only for CFL-605RT)To improve the operability of reverse cut, change the UI and specification of reverse cut.
2. Enlarge the area to paint in red around the register mark to prevent occurring the register mark detection error.(Only for the model which has register detection function excluding CF3.)
3. In CJV300/150 series, each line can be cut when performing continuous register cut.But if the data is copied, each line can NOT be cut. (Only for CJV300/150 series)
4. CorelDRAW Technical Suite X7 is supported.

4. Reverse cut function (Supported only for CFL-605RT)
   Use this feature if you need to draw ruled line to the rear face side (surface). Detect a register mark at the surface of printing and cut out the outer frame of register mark, and machine can cut from the reverse side or draw ruled line.

- The following defects occurring at Illustrator CS6 have been improved -

1. It is impossible to output under the language environment except Japanese and English.
2. The letter is partially not displayed.
3. When reading the plot file with open pass by [Import Plot File] function, the unintended lined is displayed. (For CS6-32bit Windows)
4. The defect occurs when setting and applying the output condition.
5. Fixed existing bugs.

1. "An unexpected error occurred" is displayed when sending data to CF, CF2, DC, CF3(R1/TF2 head) with selecting tools by color or layer.
2. Cutting path is created at 0.1pt(0.035mm) outer side of the frame when the offset value on frame extraction set to 0.

1. Cutting Start Position Specification
   Specifies the cutting start position.
2. Separating and Cutting Lines(CF/DC/CF2/CF3)
   Avoids cutting too much when cutting thick works including formboard.
3. Online Information
   Notifies the latest information of FineCut including update and announcement.
4. "About FineCut" menu
   You can access to the operation manual quickly from this screen.
5. Illustrator CS5 compatible.
6. Outline Extraction
   Outline data can be created easily on "Trace Simply" screen.
7. "Register Mark Creation" dialog
   An error in reading register marks is avoided by adding the mark for print direction and checking the recommended mark size.
8. Plotter/User Setup
   "Connection test" checks the cause of communication error quickly.

Update procedure

1. Click [start] menu - [All Programs] - [Mimaki FineCut7 for Illustrator]-[Uninstall Mimaki FineCut7 for Illustrator].
2. Double-click and decompress the downloaded file.
3. Double-click the installer file created after decompression.
4. Follow the instruction on screen.
5. When confirmation screen for the old version product CD appears, insert the indicated version CD of the product.
6. After confirming the product CD, follow the instructions on screen.
