License Activation in Windows

If you want to use Simple Create continuously, you need to active your license.
For license activation, the Simple CreatePC has to connect to the Internet.
(If the PC has no Internet access, you can use another PC that has Internet access for activation.)

In license activation, the serial key and the information to identify the Simple CreatePC (which is generated automatically from the PC hardware configuration information) are sent to Mimaki Engineering.
  • The license activation process uses the information from Ethernet equipment as hardware configuration information of the PC.
Do not disable the Ethernet equipment that is enabled upon license activation. If you switch between wired and wireless connections, keep the equipment that has been used so far active.
If you use a PPP-connected or USB-connected network device, enable Ethernet equipment.
  • You can use the software without activating the license for 30 days from the first startup, which is a trial period.
If you do not activate the license during the trial period, you can no longer use Simple Create after the period ends.
If the device used meets any of the following conditions, license authentication (PICT authentication) will be performed automatically when you sign in with a PICT account.
Performing PICT authentication allows you to use the functions introduced from ver. 2.0 or later.
  • A printer supported by Simple Create is registered with the Mimaki Cloud service PICT and linked to a PICT account.
  • CG-AR is connected to a network on the same subnet as Simple Create or is connected via USB 2.0
